Considerations when printing
Share
When printing a document, it is important to follow a series of considerations to ensure the result meets your expectations. Here is a list of aspects to check:
Paper Size:
Make sure the paper size matches the size specified in the product.
Verify in the print settings that the selected paper size is correct.
Page Scaling:
Ensure the scaling option is set to "Actual Size" or "100%."
Avoid options like "Fit to Printable Area" or "Reduce/Enlarge to" unless specifically required.
Paper Orientation:
Choose the correct document orientation (portrait or landscape) as needed.
Verify that the orientation in the print settings matches the document’s orientation.
Margin Settings:
Check the document’s margins to ensure no important content is too close to the edge, which could result in cutting.
Adjust margins in the document if necessary to ensure a proper printout.
Print Preview:
Use the print preview to make sure all content fits within the page margins and appears as expected.
Printer Settings:
Select the correct printer if multiple options are available.
Ensure the printer has enough paper of the correct size and sufficient ink or toner.
Advanced Settings:
Check advanced print settings, such as print quality (draft, normal, high quality).
Make sure double-sided printing options (if needed) are correctly configured.
Color Settings:
If the document includes colors, verify that the print settings are set to color if necessary or grayscale if color is not required.
